Estelle Harris was already a well-known actress when she took the role of Muriel the maid at the Hotel Tipton. She only appeared in a few episodes but made quite the impression. Before “Suite Life,” Harris had played roles on a variety of other Disney Channel shows mostly doing voice over work in ones like “Dave the Barbarian,” “Kim Possible,” and “House of Mouse.”
